Getting Ready in Style

The day began at the stunning Laguna Cliffs Marriott in Dana Point, where Madie and her bridal party got ready with the help of Luong Lasting, who created flawless hair and makeup looks for the bride, bridesmaids, and moms. Meanwhile, John and his groomsmen relaxed and got ready in a separate suite, anticipating the day’s festivities ahead.

Throughout the day, the talented Media Merge team captured every meaningful moment, ensuring Madie and John’s memories would be preserved beautifully through photo and video.

The couple exchanged vows at the beautiful St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, surrounded by a large bridal party and their sponsors. The ceremony was filled with tradition, love, and the joy of those who had gathered to celebrate their union.

Modern Elegance at Seven-Degrees

The reception was held at Seven-Degrees, a stunning venue in Laguna Beach that

provided a unique and contemporary setting. Upon arrival, guests were welcomed through the front gallery, featuring a beautiful welcome sign and seating chart by Here’s to Us Designs, with sleek stands provided by Bader Collective.

The cocktail hour on the terrace offered breathtaking sunset views, delectable hors d’oeuvres, and the enchanting sounds of a solo violinist from OC Strings, creating an elegant atmosphere for mingling.

Stunning Details and Thoughtful Touches

Inside, the reception space was a vision of white, coral, and greenery, thanks to Florescent Moments. Tables were beautifully dressed with candles and greenery, adding to the warm and inviting ambiance of the venue. Additionally, each guest was also greeted with a sweet take-home gift, a candle carved into the shape of a flower.

The rentals, provided by Above the Top Rentals, included a dramatic sweetheart stage featuring a clear acrylic table and chairs, drapery along the wall behind the stage, and a pristine white dance floor. Outside, they set up a creative magazine box adorned with florals and labeled "The Sanchez’s" to provide a unique photo opportunity for guests.

Unforgettable Moments

The reception began with a grand entrance of the parents, bridal party, and the newlyweds, followed by Madie and John’s romantic first dance to “Lifetime” by Justin Bieber. Heartfelt parent dances followed and definitely added to the emotional atmosphere.

One of the evening’s most special moments came when the couple’s parents surprised them by singing “You’ll Be in My Heart” from The Lion King, a performance that left everyone in awe.

During dinner, guests enjoyed a plated meal with choices of beef, chicken, or fish. The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, including touching words from Madie’s sister Jackie, best men James and Neiman, and a surprise poetic toast from John’s mother. Adding to the magic, the couple watched a slideshow of cherished memories projected on the venue’s walls, surrounded by their loved ones.

John’s brother, Martin, serenaded the couple and guests with a performance, adding yet another personal touch to the evening.

Entertainment and Sweet Treats

Later, dessert came in the form of a fun late-night snack from Afters Ice Cream, featuring cookie butter and coffee ice cream with all of the toppings. The bride and groom also shared a subtle yet sweet cake-cutting moment with a cake from Final Touch Bakery.

The night continued with a group photo on the dance floor, a bouquet and garter toss, and of course- dancing! Guests were also treated to a parting gift of homemade cookies, a thoughtful token of appreciation from the couple and their families.
